We’re taking you way back to last summer for this super cool, fun in the sun micro-wedding created by the IDY creative team. With minimalist weddings and elopements taking center stage right now, we thought this would be the perfect time to showcase this adorable DIY micro styled shoot just to give you some inspiration.
Our “newlyweds” represent a sweet couple that simply couldn’t wait one more day to be man and wife, so they grabbed the bride’s best friend and headed to the gulf coast for a weekend wedding and fun.
All of these super cute outfits, including the dresses for the ceremony were found at a consignment shop. Our team had so much fun sourcing these styles at Repeat Street in Ridgeland, Mississippi.
Our crew decided on having a little pre-wedding fun and hit Big Play Entertainment for a round of mini-golf which gave them such a fun background for casual pictures.
We love working with this team. Both of these amazing young women are now following their dreams modeling and working in much bigger markets. Alexis (the bridesmaid) left us for Chicago, and our bride, Latosha, ran off to the bright lights of New York. We sure miss them!
Our team opted for simple gathered flowers, but most florists have beautiful florals on hand to create a simple bouquet an elopement bride can treasure.
Even the most casual couple wants cake on their wedding day. Fleur de lis Gourmet Bakery created this sweet, summer confection just perfect for a celebratory beach picnic.
