We see so many beautiful weddings, sometimes we get a bit jaded, but every now and then, an event crosses our desk that just makes us smile. The unique, fall wedding of Emily & Dustin Eckel was simply one of those events. When a couple bonds over a combined love of Pokemon Go, you can expect their wedding to be a bit quirky and fun. These two self-described “nerds” wanted to make sure their wedding included the things about their personalities that made them special, and boy did they ever. They took details from all their favorite fandoms and video games and included them in their decor and styling. Not only did we love their special references, we fell in love with them. They are adorably cute, and there was such joy at this event that we can’t have a little fomo about not being on the guest list.
Invitations and paper products were heavy on graphic elements, and the bride’s bouquet was made of flowers crafted from the pages of a favorite book.
This sassy bride’s smile was simply infectious. We loved her lacy and super girly Kiyonna gown that she ordered online.
