To say I am a little obsessed with this super cool, modern Atlanta rooftop wedding would be an understatement. I’ve looked through this gorgeous couple’s gallery from photographer Ben and Colleen at least six times, and it took quite a while to cull down our selections to just the ones you see here. Madison and DJ Allen said “I do” at one of Atlanta’s most chic wedding venues, Ventanas, a rooftop event space that boasts epic views of the Atlanta Skyline and SkyView Atlanta, the city’s beloved 20-story Ferris wheel.
Why do I love this wedding so much? Where do I start? It’s modern, young, hip and trendy – urban elegance at its finest. From the white and black color palette to the use of acrylics in signage and the ghost chairs, the look is sleek and sophisticated. The mounds of white florals at varied heights along each table was simply stunning, and the judicious use of color – the pearl blush on the three tiered cake and the fashion-forward groom’s blue jacket – was simply perfect. As evening gave way to night, the lights of Atlanta added their sparkle to the glassed-in venue space in dramatic fashion. This ultra-glam, trendy event is easily one of my personal favorite weddings I’ve seen this year.
Madison’s Eve of Milady two piece gown had a detachable skirt with a long train which she wore for the ceremony and took off for reception fun.
Guests were encouraged to take party pics for the newlyweds.
