The modern-meets-classic style in this glamorous, all-white wedding in North Dakota is full of inspiration for southern brides.
Christine and Andrew’s snowy, white wedding with falling snowflakes, plush warm fur and romantic candlelight is a winter dream come true. Nothing was left untouched by sparkles and glamour as Christine and Andrew exchanged vows and started their life together as a family of three.
Christine Brown and Andrew Hemmah’s love story took place on a cold but beautiful winter day in Fargo, North Dakota. The bridal party began getting ready early that morning in a suite at the Hotel Donaldson in downtown Fargo. Mimosa’s were poured, the love overflowing, as Tim Williams and his crew from Details Salon in Moorhead, MN and Chelsey from Chelsey Danielle Salon began styling hair for the bridal party. Trista Chapman, owner of Blushed Beauty Bar, was there to create stunning artistry with airbrush makeup.
When thinking of her dream wedding, Christine wanted a look that was timeless, elegant, and different from the norm of a traditional wedding. How did she do this? White. Bridesmaids wore stunning gowns in white from Kristen’s Bridal that immediately gave the theme of the white wedding a classic, winter wedding vibe.
As a second grade teacher, Christine just knew she wanted “a whole mess of kids” to be with them, and of course, get to experience the joy and love the surrounded the day. Christine and Andrew had a bridal party full of sisters, brothers, and their closest friends, along with one Jr. Bridesmaid, four flower girls, and two ring bearers to help them become husband and wife. Let’s not forget their precious little man who stole the show with his big blue eyes and smile so bright. Oh what a sweetheart he was in his little tuxedo!
At the reception, she brought in a flare of her heritage with a traditional Norwegian wedding cake and served Christmas goodies for dessert. When the mother of the bride, Jeanine, was asked if there was anything she would have done differently, her only response was that she would have had more Christmas cookies, because – let’s be honest – who can have just one??
The day was captured in the perfect way by Dana of Dana Widman Photography. She traveled from Minneapolis, MN for Christine & Andrew’s day. Dana not only captured the day in stills, but also used four different locations to create beautiful art to give the newlyweds and their families memories to last a lifetime.
Congratulations Christina and Andrew! Thank you for sharing your cozy winter white wedding with our readers! – IDY
