The south is known for its sweet disposition. Southern bells serving up peach cobbler and sweet tea come to mind when we think Georgia, but Lauren Imus LLC has jilted us into a tail-spin of southern love with this moody photoshoot. Shot at Wormsloe Historic Site, this darkly beautiful project was inspired by the yearning to create a new spin on greenery.
Lauren shares:
For this shoot I was inspired by Pantone’s color of the year, Greenery. But, I didn’t want to do the bright, airy version! I wanted to look at the color through the eyes of a moody, industrial, Southern Bell. We incorporated lots of texture and deep green elements (even her eye shadow is the deep green!) and several metallic details!
These pictures are the perfect reminder that style doesn’t always have to come in big packages. A few hand-chosen elements are all that were needed to bring this gorgeous shoot together. Accessories are a photographer’s best friend.
The inspiration to keep Greenery dark and industrial is perfectly captured in the florals created by Anna Bella Florals. A sprinkle of flowers and dark, emerald greens keep the vibe edgy and fresh.
Emily G Artistry & Shea Artistry = a match made in heaven. Makeup and hair were both completely on-point.
Let’s not forget this stunner of a dress! Blue Garter Bridal and Tux supplied this amazing creation of lace, bling, and tulle and we’re daydreaming of twirling in a shadowy wood.
Oh yea. And did we forget to mention that this was all shot within thirty minutes?! Traffic almost stole these amazing photos, but Lauren Imus pulled off some crazy magic!
