When groom Scott suggested to his fiance’, Jasmine, that the Charleston, SC couple jump on a plane and get married in a week, Jasmine jumped into action, working with Asheville planner, Silver Fern Events to select all the details to create this stunning, boho elopement.
She only had six days to plan.
As a model for multiple bridal fashion spreads, Jasmine was no stranger to the world of weddings. She selected beautiful boho detailing for her ceremony space, incorporated her love of animals into her couple photos, and even hired a private chef and a musician to cook and play music following the ceremony.
Finding a gown in six days was no easy task.
With no time to order a custom gown, Jasmine spent two days in Charleston shopping for an off-the-rack boho style gown without luck, so she took to the internet and had a dress delivered in days, but it didn’t fit. With only one day before they were supposed to leave, Jasmine found that David’s Bridal had launched a boho line that included this beautiful Galina Signature gown that was just perfect. Jasmine rushed to her local store only to find the gown was out of stock, but like all things meant to be, just before she left the store, another bride walked in to return this exact gown!
Intimate elopements don’t have to be courthouse affairs.
Jasmine’s advice to anyone planning an elopement is to plan the event you want, but “not to stress the details because what is important is the two of you.” Jasmine and Scott’s gorgeous elopement is proof that you can incorporate those elegant and personal details into an elopement, even if is a private affair.
