Cassie Shuford is a newer member of our team. Cassie is also new to the wedding industry, but has a lot of experience working with clients and helping them position their brand. She brings a lot of enthusiasm for our industry as well as her adopted hometown and the gulf coast region to the table. Cassie is a visual artist as well, which gives her a unique perspective into the wedding industry as everything about weddings is about the visuals. Helping her clients create an image to connect with engaged couples helps us show you the very best that wedding professionals can create for you and your big day. Not only is Cassie a gifted painter, she captures the most beautiful beach sunsets making us all jealous of how close she lives to the ocean.

Share a bit about your family. Grew up in a family of five girls… we sailed a lot both for recreation and sometimes to compete in a Regatta. I still enjoy the outdoors today, sailing and kayaking.
What is your favorite part of your job and what memories stand out about your experience here? Venue owners love to show off their location, new renovations, or views of the coast. I enjoy learning about their needs and goals and in turn, to help them grow their business.
What wedding pros do you love – blogs, magazines, vendors, etc.? I like working with vendors and helping them by driving business their way – business meaning growth in visitors to their venue, lodging or restaurant. Sometimes, the blog may be the most exciting for the clientele they serve… so I watch that a lot.
Sum up your own wedding for us (or your dream wedding). Outside and at sunset is the ideal wedding – on or near the beach. Sunset weddings allow God to show off his tapestry and sparkle.
What are your hobbies and or things you are passionate about? I am a watercolor and acrylic artist painting landscapes, beach wildlife and coastal life along the Gulf. Also among my favorites are Cooking, Gardening, floral arrangement and spending time singing with a group at church. I also enjoy photography of local sunsets in Perdido Key from Sunset Grille or the beach areas. I’ve traveled to 9 countries both in the Caribbean and in Europe and North America. I love fashion and am always watching for the new colors and styles each year.
Who are your personal heroes, professional or personal? Rishy and Quint Studer in Pensacola are certainly a couple with long-range plan to make our Bay city prosper and develop. My personal Hero is Martin L King, Jr.
