When Julia West and Luke Snedaker planned their engagement photos they wanted to include a few special details to capture the flavor of their coastal Carolina home. This couple is absolutely adorable, and we loved the fun they infused in their session.
The twosome had been family friends for years before they started dating as young adults. Julia and Luke dated 6 years, during which they shared their love of travel going to Hawaii, Australia, and French Polynesia. The shoot location of Memorial Beach Park Pine Knoll Shores, NC is one of their favorite spots where Luke often surfs while Julia hangs out on the beach. One of their favorite things to do is to grab Smithfield’s Chicken + BBQ before heading to the beach for a quick picnic, so they thought it only fitting that they include their ritual in their session. Common Dove Photography truly did an amazing job at capturing the couple’s personality. It’s easy to see how much fun this pair has together. The spirited duo even took a dip into the ocean in their formal clothes. We can’t wait to see how much fun they have at their December 2019 Charleston wedding.
