Father of the soon-to-be-wed bride is not ready to let go of his little girl. Two versions. Remake with Steve Martin & Diane Keaton. Original with Spencer Tracy & Elizabeth Taylor.
- The Wedding Singer (1998)
A wedding singer and waitress are both engaged to be married but to the wrong people. Fortune intervenes in this feel good movies that helps them discover each other. With Drew Barrymore and Adam Sandler.
- Bridesmaids (2011)
One of the funniest bridal movies ever starring Kristen Wiig, Maya Rudolph and Melissa McCarthy. The classic battle between a maid of honor and bridesmaid to outdo one another, wanting to have everything perfect for the bride!
- 27 Dresses (2008)
Katherine Heigl is “always a bridesmaid” in this romantic comedy co-starring James Marsden as an aspiring writer currently stuck in the commitment section of the newspaper.
- The Wedding Planner (2001)
Jennifer Lopez is a wedding planner aspiring a promotion at her firm, while Matthew McConaughey is a pediatrician engaged to one of Lopez’s clients. A great love story unfolds.
- Bride Wars (2009)
Two best friends (Kate Hudson and Anne Hathaway) rival for the best wedding. The duo fight down to the DJ who gets the better vendors, location and even wedding planner on their big day!
- License to Wed (2007)
An engaged couple goes through a grueling marriage preparation with their reverend (Robin Williams) to see if they’re meant to be. Also with Mandy Moore & John Krasinski
- Jumping the Broom (2011)

- Wedding Crashers (2005)
No youngsters for this one. Crude but fully story of two committed womanizers using weddings to find girls.
