Wedding MBA

Recently a new wedding coordinator contacted me.  She asked if we have certification program for coordinators.  We do not. She asked because there was a certification being offered in the area.  I was not familiar with it.  She was concerned because of the cost.

I recommended to her the Wedding MBA, October 2-4, at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas.  This is the ninth annual year for Will and Patti Haggerty and their daughter, Shannon Underwood, to put on this tremendous conference.  And it’s the perfect avenue for this beginning wedding coordinator because the Wedding MBA has seminars and speakers that help someone just starting their business like her.

But, it doesn’t stop there!  For wedding coordinators that have been in business for years, there are tons of speakers and programs about the ever-changing marketplace.  I know a number of long time wedding coordinators that will be in attendance.

And for people like me, that are not wedding coordinators, but in the wedding industry, there’s even more.  With the wedding industry changing every day plus the social media, the mobile revolution and who knows what, this is the conference for learning about the present and the future.

We’ll be there:  Premier Bride of Mississippi and The Premier Bridal Show.  I’ve already marked the seminars we’re attending and I can’t wait!
